Why Replace That Door?

Restore it instead

Don’t Replace

Just Restore!

Restore the appearance and lifespan of your doors without the cost of full replacement

What is the Spiff Restoration System (SRS)?

SRS removes all existing coatings down to the original surface, creating a clean foundation for recoating. The result is a durable, high-gloss finish designed for long-term performance.

The Problem with

Standard Paint “Repairs”

Existing Conditions

What is Happening Beneath the Surface

Many commercial doors fail beneath the visible surface. Paint breakdown often occurs several layers deep, generally all the way to the factory primer. Once failure begins, it typically spreads across the door and throughout the property. Standard repairs like pressure washing, scraping, or re-coating only address surface-level damage. Adding new coatings over failing layers can accelerate deterioration rather than fix it. Without removing the underlying failure, the problem will continue to return.

The Real Problem: Layer Buildup

Over time, doors accumulate multiple layers of paint, often from repeated maintenance cycles.

This buildup leads to:

  • Excessive coating thickness
  • Poor adhesion between layers
  • Increased risk of peeling and delamination

Adding more paint doesn’t solve the issue. It compounds it.

Why Paint Fails

Common Causes of Coating Failure:

  • Too many layers of paint
  • Incompatible coating systems
  • Excessive thickness (mils)
  • Poor surface preparation from previous work

How SRS Solves It

SRS removes all existing coatings, eliminating these failure points entirely and restoring the surface back to a stable baseline.

A controlled, step-by-step system designed to remove failure at its source and restore longterm performance.

How the SRS Process Works

Step 1

Application

An eco-friendly remover is applied at the proper thickness and covered with a protective film for a period of four hours.

This allows coatings to release from the surface in solid layers rather than breaking down into liquid waste.

This also:

  • Reduces water usage
  • Avoids damage from abrasive blasting
  • Enables controlled removal of multiple layers

Step 2

Paint Removal & Controlled Cleanup

The remover lifts coatings from the surface rather than dissolving them, allowing paint to be

removed in solid layers.

This minimizes runoff and enables safe, controlled cleanup through sweeping, pressure washing, or vacuuming.

Step 3

Final Surface Preparation

The surface is thoroughly cleaned and prepped, leaving no residual debris or staining.

At this stage, the door is fully reset, free of previous coatings, inconsistencies, and hidden failure points.

Step 4

Restoration & Recoating

A high-performance Chembake OneStep coating system is applied to restore the door’s appearance and durability.

Results include:

  • Long-lasting, high-gloss finish
  • Optimized coating thickness
  • Extended service life (up to 20 years)
  • 12-year with standard warranty
