“A Wonderful Experience with Charles”

“Good Morning Spiff Team,

I am writing this to let you know what an absolute asset Spiff Contracting has in Charles Clubb and his team.

Charles and his team were contracted to paint our near 40 year old office, as well as hang some green-wall, monitors, and replace our very outdated merchandise wall. From the beginning of the job, I knew I was dealing with true professionals.

The level of prep work that was done in order to protect the items and fixtures in the office was unbelievable. Absolutely everything was taped, covered, removed, or otherwise protected. The doors were taken off their hinges and had the handles removed before being painted and rehung. The knobs were taken off the cabinets before painting despite the cabinets being weeks away from the trash pile. No shortcuts were taken.

The painting is of the highest quality. There were no visual imperfections left on the walls or ceilings, and all the pre-existing  blemishes are gone. The office was left neat and clean and the new merch wall and monitors do a great job in making our customers aware that we know it’s not 1986 anymore.

The quality of the work, however, is not what I’m going to remember about Charles and his team. I’m a bit of a weekend warrior handyman myself, and I couldn’t help but pick the brains of Charles and his assistants. Not only did they take the time to show me exactly what they were doing (and why they were doing it), they seemed to genuinely enjoy sharing their skills. This was especially true for Charles himself. He gave me a master’s class in mixing and applying drywall mud, and appeared to love every minute of it.

I will obviously share my opinion of his work, and my opinion of Spiff Contracting, with my co-workers and supervisors. You have a very skilled tradesman on your team who takes a great deal of pride in his work. He’s also a great teacher and a good guy.”
